Mead with a unique taste

Original Mead is the flagship of the Elisa brand. Its unique bittersweet taste is the result of the honey, herbs, and spices used. 

Traditional honest mead from Nivnice. Elisa has been produced according to the original family recipe since 1973. It is made from the best Czech honeings using a cold process to preserve all the important substances of bee honey. After fermentation, it matures in deep air-conditioned cellars. Its base is honey and water treated with Bio Control System technology. A blend of herbs and spices then gives the mead its unmistakable flavor.

Refreshing in summer, warming in winter

Mead can be consumed chilled or heated. In the summer months, it is perfectly refreshing when served at a temperature of 12-16 degrees Celsius. In winter, we heat the mead in an uncovered container to a maximum of 50 to 60 degrees Celsius, ensuring it does not boil. A slice of lemon can be added to both cold and warm mead.

Advantages of bag-in-box: Thanks to the absence of air inside the bag-in-box, we guarantee a shelf life of many months even after opening. The box is also very compact (dimensions 19 × 10 × 20 cm) and you don’t have to worry about damage during handling.
