How to best enjoy mead
Elisa Mead is not just a winter warmer – although served hot it smells wonderful and warms you to the soul. In summer, you can chill it, mix it with beer or use it to create refreshing drinks that surprise with their simplicity and taste.

Traditional way to enjoy mead
You can enjoy Elisa Mead at room temperature or nicely chilled. In summer, it refreshes perfectly with a few ice cubes and a slice of lemon.
Remember – Elisa is a natural drink that doesn’t need any additives.
It’s perfect just the way it is.
Hot mead
Heat Elisa Mead in an uncovered container – ideally in a water bath or slowly over low heat. The temperature should not exceed 50 °C and the drink must not start bubbling. Once gentle steam begins to rise, it’s ready.
You can also heat the mead in a microwave. The taste remains great. At normal power, 30–45 seconds is enough.
Heating enhances the aroma and flavor – and beautifully scents the whole home.
Honey beer with Elisa
You know beer. You know mead.

Take a proper lager – ideally 400 ml of beer – and top it up with 100 ml of Elisa Original Mead. You get a lightly sweet, honey-forward drink that tastes like a craft brewery special.

Mead with Sprite or Vinea in a 1:1 ratio. Add ice cubes or crushed ice and garnish with a slice of orange. Nothing more – yet absolutely amazing.
