About us

We are a traditional mead producer from Nivnice in the Slovácko region, whose delicious products are known under the names "Medovina Elisa", "Hromčík's Mead" ("Hromčíkova medovina"), or "Hromčíkova Elisa". To this day, our mead is produced according to the original recipe created by Mr. Václav Hromčík in 1973.

Elisa is a beverage of exceptional quality, created by combining a traditional recipe with water treated by the cutting-edge Bio Control System technology. The water used has properties identical to unpolluted virgin water from the earth's interior. Thanks to this pure form, it favorably influences the fermentation and maturation process, giving this delicious beverage its specific character.

The mead is produced exclusively by a cold method from blended, high-quality honey of Czech production. After complete fermentation, it matures in deep, air-conditioned cellars. The final filtration using modern equipment then ensures the resulting beverage has a crystal-clear appearance and a distinctive sparkle.

Our mead not only pleases all lovers of this drink, but regularly proves its quality to expert juries at prestigious competitions, where it wins numerous awards.
