About us

We are a traditional mead producer from Nivnice in the Slovácko region, known to customers under the names "Elisa Mead" or previously also "Hromčík Mead" or "Hromčík Elisa". Our mead is still produced according to the original recipe created by Mr. Václav Hromčík back in 1973.

Elisa is a beverage of exceptional quality, created by combining original recipes with water treated using Bio Control System technology. The water used in the production of mead has properties identical to pure, untouched natural water from deep within the earth. Thanks to this purity, it positively influences both the fermentation and maturation processes, giving this delicious drink its distinctive quality.

The mead is produced exclusively using a cold process from blended, high-quality Czech honey. After complete fermentation, it matures in deep, climate-controlled cellars. The final filtration is carried out using modern filtration equipment, ensuring a crystal-clear appearance and brilliant sparkle.

Our mead is appreciated not only by customers but also by expert juries. Thanks to this, we have received numerous awards.
