Original mead Elisa 10 l
Our Original mead isn’t just for winter evenings.
It works great in summer too – at parties, barbecues, or spontaneous gatherings at the cottage. Thanks to its unique sweet-bitter flavour, it tastes great warm but also makes an excellent base for mixed drinks.
We’ve got a few ideas worth trying.

Iced Bee
The most popular summer drink among our girlfriends. Mix mead with Sprite or Vinea in a 1:1 ratio, add ice cubes or crushed ice, and stir.
You can garnish the glass with an orange slice or a mint leaf.
The result? A sweet-bitter refreshment with character. It tastes unlike anything you’ve had before. Alcohol content approx. 5.5%.
Honey Beer
We all know beer. And mead too. But when a good beer meets our mead, it creates a summer drink with character that’ll win over even the biggest beer sceptic.
All you need is a quality lager and Elisa Original: Mix 1 dl of mead with 4 dl of light beer.
The result? A slightly sweet, honey-sharp drink that tastes like a limited edition from a craft brewery. Alcohol content approx. 5.9% – depending on the beer you choose.
A classic that never gets old
Elisa mead tastes great even without any extras.
In summer, we usually serve it at 12–16 °C, but feel free to chill it – that’s actually how we drink it most often.
In winter, we heat it in an uncovered pot to a maximum of 50–60 °C, making sure it doesn’t boil. A slice of lemon can be added to both cold and warm mead – it only enhances the flavour.
