How to best enjoy mead

In summer, chill it, mix it with beer, or turn it into refreshing drinks that surprise with their simplicity and flavor.

Traditional way to enjoy mead
You can enjoy Elisa mead at room temperature or nicely chilled. In summer, it’s incredibly refreshing with a few ice cubes and a slice of lemon.
Just remember – Elisa is a natural drink that doesn’t need any extra flavoring.
It’s perfect just the way it is.


Hot mead
Gently heat Elisa mead in an uncovered pot – ideally in a water bath, or slowly over low heat. The temperature shouldn’t exceed 50 °C, and the drink must not boil. Once you see light steam rising, it’s ready to serve.
You can also warm it up in the microwave – the flavor stays just as good. At standard power, 30–45 seconds is enough.
Heating enhances the aroma and taste – and fills your home with a beautiful scent.
Honey beer with Elisa
You know beer. You know mead.
But what if we told you that when you mix the two, you get a summer drink with real character – one that even a hardcore beer purist won’t turn down at a barbecue?
Take a good-quality lager – ideally 400 ml – and top it off with 100 ml of original Elisa mead. The result is a slightly sweet, honey-kissed beer that tastes like a limited-edition craft brew.

The Ice Bee
Our most popular summer drink made with mead. Simplicity is key – just mix mead with a sparkling drink, add ice and a slice of orange.
The result? A refreshing drink that tastes like nothing you’ve had before.
Mead with Sprite or Vinea in a 1:1 ratio. Add ice cubes or crushed ice and garnish with an orange slice. That’s it – and it’s an absolute hit.
